  • Basics of FGD-Wet Scrubber

    FGD- Wet Scrubber system uses scrubbing media (Water+ Chemicals). Intimate contact of scrubbing media and flue gases is basic principle used for scrubbing of gases. After scrubber gases are given to chimney / stack and effluent is given to settlement tank / clarifier. Various models and system offer once through, partial circulation, Zero discharge models. Refer STD P&I provided at end of offer. Chemical Reaction takes place in conducive environment between Sulfur Dia- Oxide (SO2) and chemicals (Caustic NaOH or Lime CaO) to form Sodium Sulfate or Calcium Sulfate. Later is removed and water can be reused as conveying media.

    Optional Facility of NOx control can be done by SNCR( Selective Non Catalytic Reaction) by Ammonia dosing prior to scrubber. In scrubber Ammonia slip is avoided.

    GCT (Gas Cleaning Tower)- Wet Scrubber system uses scrubbing media (Water+ Chemicals). Intimate contact of scrubbing media and flue gases is basic principle used for scrubbing of gases. After scrubber gases are given to chimney / stack and effluent is given to settlement tank / clarifier / ETP. Various models and system offer once through, partial circulation, Zero discharge models. Chemical Reaction takes place in conducive environment between Sulfur Dia-Oxide (SO2)/ HCL / Ammonia / Chlorine etc All harmful chemical, fumes, Hazardous Gases and Caustic NaOH or Lime CaO to form their respective chemical derivatives. Bag Filter-Not Just Any Bag Filter SHARP Supply

  1. A fully assembled ready use Kit:-going with International practice, our equipment within Boundary limit is “Ready to Use”. Shop assembly ensures Quality work & completeness of components.
  2. On line cleaning with Delta P Measurement – system is designed for Normal draft loss. System cleaning starts at set point. On-line cleaning happens for normal range of operation. When Delta P exceeds higher set point auto. Cut off of ID fan takes place & off-line cleaning takes place
  3. Special purpose Bags – we use non woven fabric by Ryton UK. A bag has PTFE / Teflon lamination of membrane. We have made selection considering clogging tendencies, cake dislodging efficiency & better mechanical strength during fatigue cycle.
  4. Well Designed distribution of gases – with Diverging inlet duct & Distribution vane; gas gets distributes equally over circumference of bag house. Gas modeling & our vast expired in the field helped our equipment design to refine gas distribution. This is key to effective ash removal
  5. Electromagnetic / Vibro pads – Easy removal of ash is possible with this feature frequency can be set based on load and fuel under use for every plant.

An electrostatic precipitator (ESP) is a filtration device that removes fine particles, like dust and smoke, from a flowing gas using the force of an induced electrostatic charge minimally impeding the flow of gases through the unit.

ESP-An electrostatic precipitator

APH

An air preheater (APH) is a general term used to describe any device designed to heat air before another process (for example, combustion in a boiler) with the primary objective of increasing the thermal efficiency of the process. They may be used alone or to replace a recuperative heat system or to replace a steam coil.

The purpose of the air preheater is to recover the heat from the boiler flue gas which increases the thermal efficiency of the boiler by reducing the useful heat lost in the flue gas. As a consequence, the flue gases are also conveyed to the flue gas stack (or chimney) at a lower temperature, allowing simplified design of the conveyance system and the flue gas stack. It also allows control over the temperature of gases leaving the stack (to meet emissions regulations, for example).

For every 220 C reduction in flue gas temperature by passing through an a pre-heater, there is 1% saving of fuel in the boiler

WPH

In case of boiler system, Water Preheater (WPH) can be provided to utilize the flue gas heat for pre-heating the boiler feed water. Consequently, there is a corresponding reduction in the fuel requirements of the boiler.

For every 220 C reduction in flue gas temperature by passing through an economiser or a pre-heater, there is 1% saving of fuel in the boiler. In other words, for every 60 C rise in feed water temperature through an economiser or WPH, there is 1% saving of fuel in the boiler

Clarifier And Filter Press

Clarifier:

Clarifiers are settling tanks built with mechanical means for continuous removal of solids being deposited by sedimentation or Floccaution Agent . A clarifier is generally used to remove solid particulates or suspended solids from liquid for clarification and (or) thickening. Concentrated impurities, discharged from the bottom of the tank are known as sludge.

Filter Press:

A filter press is a tool used in separation processes, specifically in solid/liquid separation using the principle of pressure drive, provided by a slurry pump. The filter press is used in fixed-volume and batch operations, which means that the operation must be stopped to discharge the filter cake before the next batch can be started.
