  • Basics of FGD-Wet Scrubber

    FGD- Wet Scrubber system uses scrubbing media (Water+ Chemicals). Intimate contact of scrubbing media and flue gases is basic principle used for scrubbing of gases. After scrubber gases are given to chimney / stack and effluent is given to settlement tank / clarifier. Various models and system offer once through, partial circulation, Zero discharge models. Refer STD P&I provided at end of offer. Chemical Reaction takes place in conducive environment between Sulfur Dia- Oxide (SO2) and chemicals (Caustic NaOH or Lime CaO) to form Sodium Sulfate or Calcium Sulfate. Later is removed and water can be reused as conveying media.

    Optional Facility of NOx control can be done by SNCR( Selective Non Catalytic Reaction) by Ammonia dosing prior to scrubber. In scrubber Ammonia slip is avoided.

    GCT (Gas Cleaning Tower)- Wet Scrubber system uses scrubbing media (Water+ Chemicals). Intimate contact of scrubbing media and flue gases is basic principle used for scrubbing of gases. After scrubber gases are given to chimney / stack and effluent is given to settlement tank / clarifier / ETP. Various models and system offer once through, partial circulation, Zero discharge models. Refer STD P&I provided at end of offer. Chemical Reaction takes place in conducive environment between Sulfur Dia-Oxide (SO2)/ HCL / Ammonia / Chlorine etc All harmful chemical, fumes, Hazardous Gases and Caustic NaOH or Lime CaO to form their respective chemical derivatives. Later is removed and water can be reused as conveying media.
